Casting Call! - Your Say ...

I put up a post earlier in the week about a casting call for my novel The Hunted. Of course as the writer I always have set images in my mind of what the characters would look like, but it was interesting to get feedback from everyone else who they thought certain characters could be likened to.
Benjamin Stone
So it's only going to be a short post today. I just thought I'd post up your opinions and see if you all agree with each other. Of course, if The Hunted ever did become a movie, I would probably scream like one of those girly-girls and jump up and down until either my legs fell off or one of my boobs knocked me out. So keep your fingers crossed someone notices how awesome this series is going to be!

Heather from 'Buried in Books' was pretty happy with my choices for the earlier casting call, but she did make the suggestion of Benjamin Stone. I haven't personally heard of this actor before, but when I googled him, I was pleasantly surprised by his head shot. Yes he would make a great vampire, but I also think he'd make a great Lucas Manory too!

Ann-Marie from 'Confidence is Key Lingerie' was very passionate about the subject and had a lot of suggestions. Some of them I wasn't too sure about especially Darren Criss for the role of William - I just keep picturing him from Glee and it's not the strong male lead I'm thinking of! Also, not a big fan of Rodney Scott, but he does have a little something, something. And Greg Vaughan as the choice for Thomas Woodland? Let's just say I went to Google images and found about a hundred deliciously tempting Greg Vaughans - so I'll just say yes no matter which one we pick! However - I love the choice of Amber Tamlyn for possibly Elena, and I'm a lover of Emma Stone who has a lot of spunk.

And finally a good friend of mine, Narelle - She texted me a photo of Ian Somerhalder (Damon from Vampire Diaries) and while I wholeheartedly agree that he is a major spunk, he's also been taken by another show!
But anyway, it's good to see people passionate about this story, thank you so much for taking the time to read the blog and have an opinion - I love it!
Have a good one everybody,

Kristy :)

  1. I haven't read The Hunted, but I totally bet it's really awesome and these would make really great matches for your cast! Benjamin Stone played Alec in the Nine Lives of Chloe King, so basically he was a feline in that role. So he can definitely play a paranormal part. And I also love Emma Stone!
